Since February 2012, the GAMBAS website provides up-to-date information around the topics covered by the project. Today, we are happy to share some statistics around the impact of our efforts. The statistics have been gathered using Google Analytics which is tightly integrated with the Google Sites service that we use to host the site.

Between January 1st 2012 and December 31st 2012, www.gambas-ict.eu had 683 unique visitors from 59 countries all around the world. The top 15 countries are Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, United States, China, France, Greece, Japan, Indonesia, Portugal, India, Philippines and South Korea. In total, there were 1426 visits with 3942 page views.

Content-wise the visitors of www.gambas-ict.eu are accessing all pages of the website with the top five targets being the news section, the consortium and project description, the dissemination section as well as the download section. This clearly highlights the interest of our visitors in getting the latest information on GAMBAS via the web site.

As one would expect, the primary sources of the traffic on www.gambas-ict.eu are search engines like Google, Baidu, Bing and Yahoo as well as direct hits which includes traffic generated by our RSS feeds. However, interestingly another important source of traffic are the links on other web sites managed by the members of the GAMBAS consortium, such as nes.uni-due.de or computing.open.ac.uk, as well as links by related initiatives such as internet-of-things.research.eu.

We hope that you continue to enjoy using www.gambas-ict.eu and as usual, if you have suggestions for improvements, we are happy to integrate them into the web site.
