GAMBAS Data Acquisition Video Available

posted Jan 13, 2013, 4:56 AM by Marcus Handte

We proudly announce the availability of a new Youtube video that presents the NARF component system. Developed by the members of the GAMBAS consortium, the NARF component system forms one of the core building blocks of the adaptive data acquisition framework provided by the GAMBAS middleware.

Besides from showing the current status of the system and tools, the video also demonstrates the benefits of configuration folding - a novel technique to reduce the resource consumption of context recognition applications. To do this, the video introduces an Android application that contains a speech and a music classifier.

A detailed analysis on the possible savings is provided in this publication which is freely accessible to the subscribers of our interest group. If you are not yet a subscriber of the GAMBAS interest group, we invite you to join today. It is easy and free!
